Description

We are hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide specific  interventions and therapeutic strategies to increase developmental skills of children who have been identified with developmental delays. The pay range for this position is between $40-$45/hour.

As an Occupational Therapist you will: 

  • Evaluate the developmental skills of infants and toddlers from birth through age three and provide written reports.
  • Work with families and caregivers to identify priorities for their child and the family.
  • Develop occupational therapy intervention plans based on family priorities.
  • Utilize therapeutic strategies using the Early Intervention family coaching model to address developmental delays of identified children.
  • Train, and support family/caregivers to attain outcomes established in intervention plans.
  • Document daily activities of children and report on progress.
  • Prepare occupational therapy materials for use with children/families.
  • Manage caseload, including communication with the Service Coordinator teams to pick up referrals, manage participant unit utilization in Set-Works, follow HCSIS authorizations (frequency and units), to ensure caseload is maintained and complete discharges, as appropriate.

Position Requirements Include: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
  • Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working with preschool children with disabilities and their families.
  • Knowledge of typical infant/toddler development, developmental disabilities.
