Position Duties
- Write copy for marketing program webpages for BGSU academic programs according to prescribed templates and guidelines
- Write and edit enrollment-focused web content for Marketing and Brand Strategy initiatives
- Interface directly with campus partners and subject-matter experts across various academic disciplines
- Conduct SEO and AEO research to optimize content for search visibility
- Update copy on enrollment-focused websites to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
- Manage and track projects in a digital project management system
- Route program pages for review and approvals through appropriate channels
- Ensure program page projects are completed by designated deadlines
- Assist and support additional integrated communication and marketing efforts as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience writing search engine-optimized web content and with answer engine optimization
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Previous experience with higher education marketing and writing
- Ability to track and keep many projects moving simultaneously
- Thrives in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Proficient in SEO writing, spelling, and grammar
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
