Position Summary
The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in leading daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring a high-quality guest experience. This role bridges strategic oversight with hands-on leadership—fostering a safe, customer-focused, and results-driven environment. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supervising shifts, training and developing staff, addressing guest concerns, and contributing to operational excellence, profitability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, coach, and develop team members to maintain high standards of service, efficiency, and professionalism. Provide regular feedback and support to ensure growth and accountability.
· Supervise shifts by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring projects and daily duties are completed on time and to standard.
· Respond to guest concerns and escalations in a timely and professional manner, fostering a welcoming environment and maintaining customer satisfaction.
· Assist in scheduling, labor planning, and budget management to align staffing levels with business needs and financial goals.
· Assist and participate in monthly and quarterly inventories, ordering, receiving and inventory controls to reduce shortages and maximize profits
· Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant workplace by enforcing company policies and ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
· Safeguard company assets through proper cash handling, security awareness, and care of equipment and facility resources.
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent required; college or technical degree preferred.
· 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in hospitality, retail, or entertainment.
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Ability to resolve conflicts, manage priorities, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
