Living Roots - Part-Time Caregiver (Private Duty) - Zeeland at Living Roots

We are looking for a kind and dependable caregiver to assist a veteran in maintaining his home and daily routine. The ideal candidate will enjoy providing companionship and practical support to help him stay comfortable and independent at home.

Schedule:

• Tuesdays + Wednesdays
• 8:00am–12:00pm + 8am-1pm

Location: Zeeland

• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as dishes, vacuuming, laundry, and general tidying
• Prepare simple, healthy, home-cooked meals
• Run local errands (grocery shopping, pharmacy, etc.)
• Offer companionship, conversation, and encouragement throughout the day
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living space

You’re a Great Fit If You:

• A caring, patient, and dependable personality 
• Previous caregiving or home assistance experience preferred (personal or professional) -not required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for errands and appointments 
• Ability to perform light physical tasks such as lifting laundry or light cleaning 
• Must be able to pass a background check 
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to serve others
