Position Overview
Tri-W Global, Inc. is seeking to hire full-time Project Estimator to develop cost estimates/quotes on various small to complex projects for the Oil and Gas Industry with a primary focus on Production, Midstream, Flowback Equipment.
General Responsibilities
1. Reviews and evaluates all requests for estimates/quotes.
2. Reviews customer provided drawings/information and understands scope of work to bid.
3. Creates detailed material and labor worksheets based upon customer provided drawings/information.
4. Obtain current pricing for materials through Procurement or direct vendor relations.
5. Provides Engineering department with customer provided information to create a preliminary drawing.
6. Prepare cost analysis comparison to the material and labor worksheets.
7. Review estimates for inaccuracies or omissions based upon customer provided drawings/information and conducts design checks on the production floor.
8. Coordinate with sales personnel for quote finalization.
9. Maintain updated and current labor rates for accurate labor estimating.
10. Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, customer requirements, etc.
11. Collaborate with sales personnel for customer feedback
12. Maintain quote/job folder with all customer communication, documents, drawings, quotes, cost analysis/worksheet, etc.
13. Attends and participates in weekly Production, Sales, and Safety meetings.
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in developing scopes of work and cost estimates for surface and production equipment.
- Strong analytical thinker with a high level of problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and exhibits open collaboration with others to seek out solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
- Applicant must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
