Tote Washer at Shamrock Environmental Corporation

The Tote Washer is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing plastic or metal totes used for storing or transporting various materials, including chemicals, food products, or industrial liquids. This role ensures that all totes are thoroughly cleaned according to company procedures and environmental or safety regulations to prevent contamination and maintain operational efficiency.

• Wash and sanitize the interior and exterior of totes using pressure washers, steam cleaners, or chemical solutions
• Inspect totes for damage, residue, or contamination before and after cleaning
• Properly label and stage clean totes for reuse or shipment
• Safely handle cleaning agents and follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash area.
• Exposure to chemicals, hazardous materials, and high-pressure cleaning systems.
• Frequent use of PPE and working in physically demanding conditions (wet, hot, or cold environments).
• May involve shift work, overtime, or weekend duties based on project needs.

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Frequently lift 40-50 pounds, occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
  • Periodic/frequent exposure to hazardous chemicals with designated personal protective equipment
  • Must be willing and able to work 55 hours or more per week based on department needs.
  • Must have valid Driver's License Forklift Certified desired
  •  Must be able to pass the required DOT Drug Screen.
  •  Must be willing to work on weekend days when needed.
  •  Must be willing and able to work for consecutive weeks based on the department needs
