The Red Hat Planning, Insights & Execution team, nested under IT, is looking for an experienced Change Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with program and project team members and subject-matter experts (SME’s) and lead change management activities for projects and transformation initiatives. You will develop and implement strategies and plans, including execution of deliverables, to ensure readiness and maximize adoption of large-scale, complex changes impacting thousands of global users and stakeholders.
What will you do?
Monitor planned and active project and initiative roadmaps
Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
Perform change management assessments
Create and execute change management strategies, plans, and deliverables
Develop user enablement materials to prepare and support individuals affected by changes
Establish and monitor success metrics
Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues
Consult, advise, and coach project teams
Hold self and others accountable
Individual Contributor Role: This position carries no people management responsibilities and has no direct reports.
What will you bring?
7+ years experience with organizational change efforts
Highly proficient at applying advanced change management methods, concepts and approaches for large-scale, complex changes
Ability to actively manage multiple concurrent complex projects to successful completion from initiation through delivery and closure
Deep understanding of key principles of adult learning, instructional design, and learning methods and channels
Familiarity with project management approaches, including agile, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Excellent active listening skills
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
Problem solving and root cause identification skills
