In this role, you'll:

 

Work as part of a team delivering rapid train recovery and re-railing operations across the Sydney Trains network, this role will see you support incident response efforts, assist in the maintenance and readiness of specialised recovery equipment, and help restore services quickly and safely following derailments or collisions.

 

You will support critical recovery operations in a high-pressure, safety-focused environment, ensuring minimal disruption to the network and assisting in maintaining operational continuity.

About you

 

Your technical mindset, safety awareness, and adaptability, formed across rail operations, heavy machinery, emergency response or field services, will see you navigate complex recovery scenarios, maintain essential equipment to standard, and overcome the challenges of varied rail conditions and access points to deliver timely service restoration.
