At 32Co, we’re building the operating system for specialist healthcare - empowering general clinicians to deliver world-class care. Behind that mission sit high-performing teams across Design, Clinical Support, and Product.

We’re looking for a Chief of Staff (Operations) to help shape, scale, and strengthen those teams. Your first major focus will be our Design team, the engine behind our orthodontic product. You’ll work with Nick (VP Operations), Rohan (Head of Design), and Hattie (Head of People) to ensure this team is structured, scalable, and thriving. From onboarding and capacity planning to performance, growth, and building an exceptional remote-first culture you’ll design and operationalise the systems that power this team at scale.

Once that foundation is built, you’ll roam across 32Co, leading high-impact strategic and operational projects - from embedding AI and rethinking service design to supporting new market launches and vertical expansion.

This is a high-trust, high-leverage role for someone who loves building order from complexity, scaling teams and systems, and helping world-class teams to do their best work.

What you’ll do:
Design team enablement (initial focus)
Partner with leadership to ensure the design team has the capacity, structure, and support needed to deliver at scale.
Build and refine processes across workflows, feedback, recognition and performance, balancing speed with quality.
Drive engagement initiatives that strengthen team culture and connection in a remote-first setup.
Hold regular 1:1s to stay close to the pulse of the team, understanding their challenges, wins, development goals, and engagement levels.
Define and communicate clear progression pathways and development frameworks.
Deliver exceptional hiring & onboarding experiences in collaboration with our People and onboarding teams.
Be the connective tissue between the design team and cross-functional partners.
Play a leading role in embedding technology and AI where it can have the most impact.

Broader projects (ongoing remit)
Own and deliver strategic projects that drive operational excellence across 32Co. 
Design and implement new operating models as the company scales across products and geographies.
Embed automation and AI-driven systems into core operations.
Partner with leadership on operational roadmaps, metrics and scaling frameworks.
Identify inefficiencies and opportunities, turning insight into structured improvement projects.
Define your own remit. The right person will spot the next opportunity before we do.
