Under the direction of the Student Services Director or designee. This support includes assistance with classwork, physical navigation of the campus and participation in school activities. The Substitute Paraprofessional monitors and reports on student progress regarding behavior and performance; prepares instructional materials and performs a variety of clerical duties as assigned.
Required Documents
For the Substitute Paraprofessional position an associate’s degree in child development or related field is desired as well as Crisis Prevention Institute or other de-escalation program certification. Experience working with students classified with autism spectrum disorder or learning disabilities is also encouraged.
