What you will be doing:
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our Human Resources (HR) team. CLS HR is growing its Vendor Management capability to support management of our critical and key vendors. The purpose of this role is to maximize the performance and value of CLS’s Third Parties whilst minimizing risk and gaining value through contractual and relationship management.
As part of the HR team, you will:
• Support the Director, HR Governance to develop a framework for HR Vendor Management and Governance compliant with CLS TPRM and Procurement Policies
• Maintain oversight of the HR register of vendors, upcoming risk assessments and renewals
• Support Vendor Relationship Owners (VROs) and Service Owners (SOs) with all aspects of third-party administration and management activities
• Partner with HR Leadership and HR Governance to maintain the HR inventory of Risks and Controls related to third parties and RCSA testing
• Provide HR Risk SME support to Third Party Risk Management and Procurement
• Support Service Owners and be the key HR point of contact for TPRM and Procurement queries
• Manage the HR key vendor governance program and partner with HR Governance and HR Service Owners
• Partner with the HR Governance to implement and maintain third party related process maps, procedures and templates ensuring they are up-to-date and well-communicated
• Support the onboarding of new HR team members to ensure there is an understanding of third-party management requirements compliant with TPRM and Procurement policies
Strategic
• Establish relationships both internally and externally
• Creation and maintenance of third-party scorecards
• Managing and overseeing the Governance aspects of the relationship ensuring value is created
• Identify opportunities to achieve maximum value of the vendor portfolio and work with Leadership and Procurement to realize the benefits
• Ensuring compliance and exceeding requirements as required with the TPM Policy
Operational
• Monitoring and managing contractual arrangements ensuring delivery including:
o Contract end dates and renewal timeframes
o Deliverable tracking
o Obligation tracking
o Change management
o Cost management
o Invoice management
o Document management
• Support and monitor the Vendor Relationship Owners and Services Owners to meet compliance of the vendor management activities
• Prepare periodic oversight updates to the HR Leadership Team
• Represent HR for ad-hoc change and project initiatives across the company
What we’re looking for:
The role would suit candidates with:
• Human Resources Vendor Management knowledge and experience
• Established and proven contract and commercial management experience
• Knowledge of Financial Services, Financial Markets Utilities or another highly regulated industry sector is essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior leaders
• High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data privacy
• A thorough attention to detail, ensuring work is accurate and reflects relevant information
• Ability to drive behaviors to foster a risk-aware and risk intelligent culture where employees recognize their role as risk managers and the importance of the control framework
• Ability to want to learn and show natural curiosity
• The role also entails responsibilities that are administrative, and we need a person that is willing to be hands on and get involved to execute
Professional qualifications / certifications
• Qualifications in any of the following specialisms would be beneficial but not essential:
o Bachelor’s degree
o CIPS
o IACCM
o Project Management
• Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
