Special Education Paraprofessional at Minnesota Valley Education District

LS-H Elementary School, within the Le Sueur-Henderson Public School District, is seeking a Special Ed. Paraprofessional.  This position will work with special ed. students in a resource room setting and general education classrooms.

Job Summary:
Assist teachers in the delivery of student instruction.

Qualifications:

• 2 or 4 year degree, minimum high school diploma
• Work effectively with students and staff; cooperative working style and good organizational skills

Job Description:

• Assist case manager
• Perform any duties as prescribed in a student's Individual Educational Plan
• Support and monitor students' work (Individually or in group) in content areas
• Provide feedback to the case manager on student performance.
• Attend meetings and/or training as requested
• Monitor children to support district-wide behavioral expectations
• Proctor assessments as requested.
• Attend CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training and maintain CPI certification
• Maintain certifications as required
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned
• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position
