Description
Revere Plastics Systems, LLC is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in Clyde, OH. This position plays a key role in establishing and maintaining quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain quality standards in accordance with customer Standards.
- Perform engineering studies, including product and process qualifications.
- Reduce variation through the implementation of effective quality techniques.
- Analyze data to create action plans for improvement and permanent corrective action.
- Assist in the improvement of systems to increase efficiency, reduce loss, and achieve goals.
- Guide departments in creating/implementing corrective/preventive actions.
- F/U on all open action items for closure to ensure effectiveness.
- Participate in quality planning activities ensuring submission of new products for customer approval.
- Assist in technical aspects of layout concerning proper techniques, blueprint reading, and gage design/control.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality program.
- Assist associates in developing knowledge of gages, SPC, blueprints.
- Develop plant quality acceptance standards to improve shift communication and consistency.
- Assist the Quality/CI Manager and Director of Operations in any requests for investigation into continuous improvement, product quality or function; and assist Quality/CI Manager in the day-to-day activities of the Continuous Improvement and Quality depts.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Quality Engineering (or foreign equivalent).
- Requires 36 months of experience in industrial engineering.
