Summary:

The Lead Float Resident Services Associate provides care and service to residents across all Ohio Maplewood communities based on each resident’s individual service plan. This role requires flexibility to travel between communities and deliver consistent, high-quality care and service.

Essential Functions:

  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience for residents, their families, and visitors across multiple communities.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Maintain awareness of each resident’s general physical and mental health; promptly report any changes to Nursing Staff and/or Executive Director.
  • Respond to resident emergencies, provide first aid, and arrange appropriate medical follow-up.
  • Assist residents in keeping apartments/units clean, neat, and orderly.
  • Answer calls for assistance and attend to resident needs promptly.
  • Provide medication prompting as assigned.
  • Assist residents with clothing, laundry, and meal selection/service as needed.
  • Support activity programs as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate records and files according to policy.
  • Complete monthly in-service education hours as required by state-specific regulations.
  • Co-Manage RSA Schedule in assistance with Lead RSA, Resident Services Director and Team.
  • Co-Manage Training to new RSA’s onboarding on all shifts.
  • Support training of associates in culinary, housekeeping, maintenance & programming as needed
  • Support Culture Crew & Retention Efforts in the community
  • Support tidiness of the community common spaces and aide in keeping the community tour ready
  • Support associates with monthly in-services and holding associates accountable for completion on time
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

      Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:

      • Current State Specific Nurse’s Aide Registration and Training
      • Experience and passion in working with seniors
      • Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting up to 60lbs
