Summary/objective
The warehouse employee is responsible for always providing excellent customer service.
Essential functions

- Responsible for loading customer’s flooring purchases either by forklift or by hand, as needed.
 - Off load and receive product into the inventory system, then call/email customers in a timely manner of its arrival.
 - Complete pick up and receiving paperwork accurately and tag products and pallets accordingly.
 - Perform weekly cycle counts to insure accurate inventory.
 - Store maintenance and cleaning including maintaining an organized and clean warehouse, showroom, and property.
 - Receive deliveries from vendors and MDC or CDC.
 - Offloading trucks as they arrive.

Required education and experience:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
 - Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
 - Excellent Communication skills; both verbally and in writing
 - Basic math and organization skills
 - Detail-oriented mindset, data entry and computer skills
 - Ability to work on feet for long hours
 - Understanding of safety protocols and requirements
 - Experience shipping, receiving, or selling related products
 
Preferred education and experience:
- Forklift certification is beneficial for unloading large shipments
