Specific Duties
- Develop compliance strategies or programs for Cardinal based on state and federal laws.
- Serve as an advisor to Plant HR on policy management.
- Identify and assess potential risks and develop plans to minimize or eliminate them.
- Manage Corporate Handbooks, State Addendums, and all Plant Procedural manuals.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation enforcing adherence to requirements.
- Manage labor law posting compliance for plants, through GovDocs subscriptions.
- Manage administration of employment authorizations and sponsorships, including I-9 and E-Verify procedures and training.
- Assist locations with management of Military Leave and USERRA compliance
- Complete various plant economic reports, including benefit rate estimates, wage apportionments and government grant reports.
- Submit monthly, annual, and ad hoc DOL and BLS filings.
- Backup on hourly payroll and employee relations
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned
