Site Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County

Job Title:  Site Director

Reports to:  Unit Director, Coupeville Boys and Girls Club

Schedule: Monday through Friday, Split Shift, Full Time

JOB SUMMARY  

The Site Director runs the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County’s before and after school program at a specific site.  They are expected to interact positively with the kids, plan the curriculum, work closely with school staff, communicate effectively with parents, and supervise staff. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Plan and assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for youths aged 5-12.
• Ensure all programs and activities are organized and conducted in a professional manner, working closely with the Unit Director and Program Director from the parent Club to ensure programming and activities meet Boys & Girls Clubs of America Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate programs, services, and activities to ensure safety of all members, quality of programs, and Club appearance.
• Create an environment that facilitates and promotes participation and guidance for all members.
• Develop a strong partnership with school employees and work to establish and maintain a full enrollment of children.
• Supervise part-time staff.
• Provide support for youth and families.
• Participate in special programs and/or events and drive the Club van when necessary.
• Maintain all required records, including attendance.
• General cleaning and other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with children. 

Ability to motivate youth and manage behavioral problems.

Ability to plan and implement quality programs.

Ability to organize and supervise members ensuring a safe environment. 

CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Prior experience supervising children in a group setting, licensed child-care, curriculum planning, and STARS or MERIT training a plus!
