JOB OVERVIEW: 

The Recruiter will assist the HR and Recruiting departments with operational and administrative tasks. This role focuses on supporting recruitment efforts and ensuring efficient HR operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn about various aspects of human resources and talent acquisition. 

 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define role requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates across a variety of roles (e.g., field technicians, network engineers, sales, and customer support).
  • Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, professional networks, referrals, and social media.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, cultural fit, and interest.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, provide feedback, and guide candidates through the hiring process.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and ensure data accuracy.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
  • Represent the company brand at job fairs, networking events, and online platforms.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • HR Projects and Other Duties: As assigned.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES: 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience with a HRIS system and recruitment tools highly preferred.
  • Problem-solving and data analysis skills to track metrics and improve processes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee data.
  • Familiarity with labor market trends and compliance in telecommunications.
  •  Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Enthusiasm for representing an innovative, customer-focused telecommunications brand.
  • Experience using ATS and recruiting tools (e.g., ADP, LinkedIn Recruiter, Job Boards).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) candidates are highly desired.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within telecommunications, technology, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of technical and field operations roles.
  • Proven ability to source, screen, and close candidates in a competitive market.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Work performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
  • Computer work with repetitive use of keyboard and mouse.
