Watsontown Brick – Quality Control Technician

The Quality Control Technician will play a critical role in ensuring that all raw materials and finished products meet General Shale and ASTM standards. This position involves testing materials and products at all three stages of production — raw materials, manufacturing, and packaging — to maintain consistent quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Verify product quality in accordance with General Shale and ASTM specifications.
• Set up and prepare brick sample boards for grading and evaluation.
• Operate forklifts to assist with material handling and sample preparation.
• Maintain accurate records of test results and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality control process.
