Data Warehouse Engineer - Specialist at Culver Franchising System, LLC

Culver Franchising System, LLC is looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer - Specialist to design and develop data warehousing, ETL, and other data integration solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will support the testing, implementation, support, and optimization of data solutions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, contribute to the development of ETL solutions, and ensure that data is accurate and accessible for reporting in Snowflake and Power BI. 

Essential Functions:

Data Warehouse and ETL Development:

• Design, development, and assist in the maintenance of data warehouse solutions
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement ETL processes in Azure Data Factory
• Monitor and assist in optimizing performance of ETL processes in Azure Data Factory
• Develop and maintain documentation for data warehouse processes and procedures
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and ETL development
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development practices

Data Quality, SQL, and Reporting 

• Collaborate with senior developers to develop efficient SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures in Snowflake
• Assist with Power BI semantic model and report development
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and performance bottlenecks
• Support data analysts and business users with data-related queries and reporting needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• 3-6 years of experience in data warehousing and ETL development
• Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases
• Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS) and proficient in building ETL pipelines
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse is a plus

Starting Pay Range: Commensurate with experience.
Classification: Exempt/Salary, full-time position.
