Senior Installer at Gropen Inc.

Gropen Inc. is a leader in custom signage, fabrication, and branded environments. We are seeking a Senior Installer to take a lead role in bringing our projects to life on-site. From architectural signage to immersive exhibits, our installations demand precision, problem-solving, and professionalism. As a Senior Installer, you’ll ensure that every project is delivered, assembled, and completed to the highest standard while mentoring junior team members and representing Gropen with clients and partners. 

What You’ll Do 

• Lead the installation of custom signage, displays, and branded environments at client sites.
• Interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation plans with accuracy.
• Ensure all installations are executed to meet quality, safety, and client expectations.
• Operate and oversee the safe use of lifts, rigging, power tools, and installation equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and fabricators to resolve challenges in the field.
• Mentor and train junior installers, ensuring best practices and safety standards are upheld.
• Maintain a professional presence with clients, contractors, and site partners.
• Troubleshoot and adapt to on-site conditions, providing solutions to keep projects on track.

What We’re Looking For 

• Proven experience installing signage, displays, or architectural elements.
• Strong technical skills with tools, equipment, rigging, and hardware.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in varied environments.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and client-oriented.
• Ability to travel and lead designated team on multi-day installations when necessary
• Physical ability to lift 20+ lbs 

Preferred Qualifications 

• 5+ years in signage, exhibit, or specialty installation.
• Experience leading crews or supervising installation teams including overseeing subcontractors.
• Experience working with general contractors.
• Knowledge of construction methods, site safety standards, and OSHA requirements.
• CDL or ability to drive company vehicles and operate lifts (preferred but not required).
