Clinical Therapist/Psychotherapist

Department: 29i Mental Health/ EFFC

Schedule: Part-time 21 hours

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide clinical therapy services to children and adolescents in foster care settings, with a focus on supporting their emotional and behavioral health.

 JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Provide therapy services for children and adolescents in regular and therapeutic foster care.
• Provide family therapy services as indicated.
• Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • Child and adolescent development.
  • Mental health and Emotional/behavioral health.
  • Parent-child relationships, family dynamics; and diagnostic classification.
• Collaborate with other foster care colleagues, such as caseworker staff and home finding staff.

• Comply with all Medicaid, 29i and ACS protocols

• Knowledge and experience working with diverse cultures and ethnicities.
• Candidates should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Complete all required case documentation in the Electronic Case Record.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master of social work degree from an accredited school of social work -limited permit or limited permit eligible.
• Master’s degree in mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy or clinical psychology -limited permit or limited permit eligible.
