Summary: The Appeals Litigation Legal Assistant Representative is a critical member of the Appeals Operations Group within the client demands.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high-volume caseload, adhering to appeal timeliness standards while conducting due process reviews.
- Contribute to achieving a high-performing and positive work environment.
- Receive and review appeals daily to identify potential resolutions within policy guidelines and conduct outreach if unresolved.
- Exhibit attention to detail in researching appeal cases and documenting notes for proper case processing.
- Participate actively in unit meetings and discussions on workflow improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, public health, health policy, paralegal, or legal assistant studies; or equivalent education and experience.
- 2 years of relevant work experience ina related field.
- Ability to foster and maintain cohesive working relationships.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Sound judgment and strong organizational skills, including prioritization, multi-tasking, and workload management.
- Advanced writing and communication skills.
