Installation Technician – Commercial Security Systems

We’re seeking an experienced Installation Technician to join a leading national security systems integrator specializing in enterprise-level electronic security solutions. You’ll be responsible for installing and commissioning systems for commercial clients across industries such as financial institutions, quick-serve restaurants, and corporate facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems.

• Work with leading platforms including DMP, Brivo, Lenel, and Genetec.

• Perform device mounting, wiring, terminations, and system setup.

• Configure IP addresses and network settings for connected devices and cameras.

• Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning.

• Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience installing and servicing electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion).

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting IP-based systems.

• Familiarity with DMP, Brivo, Lenel, or Genetec preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
