ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Audit and verify all casino and resort revenue transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls.
- Review and reconcile transactions from Cage, Table Games (including Blackjack, Roulette, and Craps), and Slot operations.
- Verify soft and hard count entries, such as drops, fills, credits, and openers/closers for accuracy and adherence to gaming regulations.
- Audit Food & Beverage, Spa, and Hotel revenue reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare reports and summaries for Casino General Managers and the Internal Revenue Service as required.
- Analyze Drop Team variances and electronic data for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies, irregularities, or potential issues to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain thorough records and organized documentation for all audit functions.
- Perform audits of sensitive areas in accordance with gaming regulations and company authorization.
- Ensure compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations, and all internal policies and procedures.
- Maintain awareness of casino operations and exercise discretion in handling confidential information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated knowledge of auditing, accounting, or financial reconciliation principles.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Effective communication and customer service skills with a professional, diplomatic demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college-level accounting coursework preferred.
- One (1)+ year of recent and related auditing or accounting experience, preferably in a gaming or hospitality environment.
- Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion, including prolonged periods of sitting, occasional walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, and standing with standard breaks. Essential duties may require lifting up to 30 pounds of related equipment and general office supplies.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
$17.50+ per hour based on experience
