Contract Manager (Quality Assurance Focus)

We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Contract Officer with a focus on quality assurance. This role is all about making sure services deliver what children, families, and communities really need.

You don’t need prior experience in commissioning or contract management – we’ll provide full training and support. What matters most is your attention to detail, fairness, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

You’ll spend part of your time visiting services, so you’ll need a full driving licence and access to a car.

We welcome applications from people from all backgrounds – whether you’ve worked in care, education, community work, customer service, or another field where you’ve built strong relationships and solved problems. If you’re passionate about improving services and outcomes for children and want to develop your career in a supportive and inclusive team, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll bring:

  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and a commitment to making a difference.
  • The ability to spot when things aren’t working well and raise concerns appropriately.
  • Confidence in building relationships and working with others to find solutions.
  • An interest in learning about how children’s services work and how we can keep improving them.

This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.

-          A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
