Office of Criminal Conflict & Civil Regional Counsel - Assistant Regional Counsel

 

The Office of Criminal Conflict & Civil Regional Counsel, First DCA Region is seeking a full-time attorney in our Jacksonville, FL office who will be responsible for a criminal case load in Duval County. 

The qualified applicant should have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Criminal Defense and must be a member in good standing with The Florida Bar.  The Attorney will be required to represent clients in various types of court hearings, to include jury trials, non-jury trials, motion practice, and should have the motivation and ability to cover cases on multiple dockets.  Such representation of clients would include client interviews, witness interviews, preparing witnesses for trial, research and writing legal documents and filings, and providing an ongoing assessment of the merits of a case. 

The position is a full time State of Florida position with attendant state benefits with a salary range commensurate with the successful applicant's experience.
