OPS Maintenance Assistant at University Athletic Association, Inc.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a part-time Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance department by assisting with facility maintenance, clean-up, painting, grounds maintenance, pressure washing and landscaping. This position requires the incumbent to lift up to 75 lbs; be a team player; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures and backgrounds. This posting will be open until a qualified candidate has been selected.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED*
• One year of related experience and/or training*
• Valid driver’s license

*An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of listed requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating 2/4 cycle machines such as but not limited to: gas/electrical backpack blower, power washer, edger

BENEFITS:

This is a part-time position with no associated benefits.
