SUMMARY 

The Demand Planner is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts and ensuring effective inventory management to support the company’s strategic objectives. This role leverages data analysis, forecasting tools, and cross-functional collaboration to balance supply with customer demand, optimize revenue, and prevent capacity constraints, surpluses, or shortages. The Demand Planner will play a critical role in supporting the company’s growth and operational efficiency within the dynamic telecommunications industry


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Research, analyze, and maintain forecasting reports, models, and databases to support accurate and reliable demand planning.

    Develop short-term and long-term inventory forecasts to optimize revenue while meeting customer and operational requirements, including the introduction of new products or materials.

    Monitor production trends, contractor orders, and inventory levels to adjust forecasts proactively.

    Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to align forecasts with business initiatives, promotions, and capacity planning.

    Identify and proactively manage risks and demand variability related to minimize to supply shortages or inventory surpluses.

    Coordinate with procurement specialists and logistics to ensure timely material availability.

    Develop, implement, and refine demand planning strategies to improve forecast accuracy and support business decision-making.

    Establish, maintain, and document standardized demand planning processes, methodologies, and system practices.

    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, inventory health, and planning efficiency.

    Provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational planning.

    Stay current with demand planning best practices, tools, and technologies to enhance forecasting capabilities. 


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.

    2–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools

    Experience with demand planning systems 

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner across multiple departments.

    Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
