Maintenance Technician Senior at Johnson Outdoors

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on plant and production equipment issues using schematics and technical drawings.

· Performs preventative and required maintenance on production and plant equipment. Repairs equipment, systems, conveyors and/or other systems at the facility.

· Documents maintenance and preventive services performed, and actions taken to fix issues.

· Works with pneumatics, electrical, hydraulic and/or air compressor systems (varies by business unit).

· Provides production and physical plant maintenance support.

· Identifies and implements ideas for process improvements, safety, quality and waste management.

· Inspects alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.

· May act as a resource to less experience technicians to assist with troubleshooting issues and understanding policies/procedures.

· Promotes company safety policies, workmanship standards and operational procedures among team members while displaying strong quality consciousness at all times.

· May performs other various duties such as assembly, operating equipment, machining and welding.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education: Typically requires an associate/technical degree in a maintenance technology, a related certification, or equivalent.

Experience: Typically requires 5 years of manufacturing experience.
