Production Operator 2 at Tekni-Plex

Operate and maintain the assigned machine (In-line Thermoforming, Extruder machines, Off- line machine, Printing or sleeving machine) to ensure machinery is running at optimum efficiency. Work along with Operators to comply with the production needs in terms of quality, efficiency and operational cost. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedure, including LOTO. Follow all company safety policies. Directly responsible for the production and maintenance process, machine set up, change overs. Request and assure the use of the correct materials in his/ her machine. Fulfill all procedures generated by the company, including but not limited to  set up, change overs, GMP's, safety, quality, packaging specs, etc. Ensure every mechanism in the machine works properly to achieve the production goals. Perform quality checks per established procedure. Assure all information is filled in correctly to include but not limited to Production sheets, efficiency system (shop Logix)  Baan fusion, cleaning forms, inspection forms, maintenance work orders, parallelism, etc. Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the shift
