Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Fitters / Welders for projects located in and around Olean, NY. This is a second shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $35/hour based on experience plus $125/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
- Fit and weld steel components according to blueprints and shop drawings
- Perform FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) using 1/8" wire and SMAW (Stick Welding) using 7018 rod
- Complete test position 14F in compliance with AWS D1.5 standards
- Tack and fit materials accurately and safely
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area
Requirements:
- Must be able to certify to AWS D1.5
- Prior bridge welding experience strongly preferred
- Must be capable of fitting and tacking from blueprints
- Reliable transportation required
- Standard PPE required (welding hood, gloves, safety gear)
