JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: JH Sports Rental Lead                    

Reports To: JH Sports Rental Manager

Department: Retail

Classification: Full-Time/Seasonal                                   

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Functions of the Role

• Oversee and assist in daily operations of JH Sports Rental, ensuring procedures and policies are set up and executed to hit high accounting standards.
• Assist with oversight of Ski and Basket Check
• Manage labor on rental floor ensuring all areas of store are properly staffed
• Provide consistent exceptional customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of rental shop
• Work with Rental Manager and Rental Supervisor to help train rental staff
• Operate cash register/computer to record all transactions
• Perform opening and closing duties of the store
• Assist guests through rental process, focusing on guest experience and efficiency
• Consistently monitor the guest flow and work with staff to expedite rental process while maintaining safety standards
• Obtain all bindings manufacturers certifications
• Present yourself as a Mountain Resort ambassador by engaging guests and providing resort wide information
• Work with Repair Manager to ensure rental skis and snowboards are in pristine shape for guests
• Work with other JHMR rental outlets to maintain proper inventory and gear shuffle between shops

• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
• Previous management experience preferred
• Prior experience in ski/rental shop preferred
• Minimum 2-year college degree or equivalent job-specific training
