Job Description
An 80-year group, COBRA promotes its own efficient business model, the result of the combination of decentralization, geographical diversification and technical specialization of more than 20,000 professionals in more than 43 countries. In this way, it offers a wide range of services throughout the value chain of projects, adapted to each sector and to the scope of the contract required by our clients, both public and private.
Cobra is divided into four main sectors of activity, Networks, Specialised installations, integrated projects and concession assets.
ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.
The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.

About the Role
Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a Finance Administrator for 6 months to join the team that will be responsible for working closely with leaders, employees, candidates and various internal / external stakeholders.
Assist with monthly payroll, including timesheets, ABA files, and payslips.
Create and issue invoices and remittance advices.
Manage accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
Enter payable invoices and prepare banking files.
Assist with preparing financial reports for the Executive team and government submissions.
Maintain staff records and support onboarding of new staff.
Respond to stakeholder account enquiries with professionalism and care.
Required Skills and Competencies
Experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a construction environment is highly regarded.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A proactive, team-oriented attitude.
Familiarity with accounting software and payroll systems.
Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
