Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the administration and coordination of the Marketing function. This is a key enabling role, working closely with all members of the Asset Marketing team and key members of the Centre Management Team.

You will make an impact by:

  • Administrative Support: Assist the Marketing team with accounting tasks, supplier onboarding, invoice processing, and Gift Card program administration. Manage the marketing mailbox, centre directories, mapping updates, databases, presentations, and National Marketing deadlines.
  • Event and Campaign Support: Assist the Asset Marketing team with events, campaigns, and activations.
  • Digital Marketing Support: Aid the Digital Marketing Executive with website, social media, and EDM tasks.
  • Retailer Communication: Maintain strong relationships with retailers, distribute retailer newsletters, manage the marketing inbox, distribute retailer memos, and gather sales data and commentary.
  • Performance Analysis: Understand and report on turnover performance and occupancy costs, and compile monthly turnover commentary reports.
  • Community Engagement: Manage Community engagement and donation requests.
  • Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and deliver the annual Marketing plan and budget, ensuring alignment with the centre's business plan.
  • Hoarding Coordination: Support the Asset Team by managing the delivery, approvals, and implementation of hoardings across the centre.
  • Visual Merchandising Support: Oversee visual merchandising pods and promotional spaces, ensuring they reflect brand standards and support campaign objectives.

About You

You are a proactive, energetic and driven Marketing Coordinator, with a passion for retail. You thrive in a harmonious and culture first team environment. You understand the importance of relationships and have the ability to seamlessly pivot between a variety of interesting campaigns.

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or similar.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in events and marketing.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in digital technology and social media.
  • Creative thinking and branding understanding.
  • A team and customer centric approach.
  • Solution-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • High initiative and understanding of business drivers.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • An adaptable and flexible, approach, with the ability to prioritise and multitask to achieve goals.
