Due to growth and customer demand, we are currently recruiting for a Manager, HRIS Employee Central to join our HR Technology team.  This is a hybrid role  in our Lisle, IL facility.

 

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

The Manager & Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Employee Central will lead a team of HR Technology professionals responsible for managing SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC). This role requires a unique blend of deep functional/technical expertise in Employee Central and people leadership skills to drive delivery, ensure operational excellence, and continuously improve the employee and HR user experience. The incumbent will partner with HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure EC is optimized, compliant, and aligned with the organization’s global HR strategy.


Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Employee Central team, ensuring high performance, knowledge growth, and effective workload distribution.
  • Foster a collaborative, solution-oriented team culture.
  • Set goals, monitor progress, and conduct performance reviews for team members.

 

System Expertise & Delivery

  • Serve as the senior-most subject matter expert on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, ensuring robust design, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Oversee day-to-day EC operations, including support, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and change requests.
  • Drive system upgrades, regression testing, and release management, ensuring the team delivers with high quality and timeliness.
  • Provide strategic direction for EC-related projects and enhancements.

 

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as the primary liaison between HR, IT, and EC stakeholders globally.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and COEs to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including external consultants and SAP/SuccessFactors support.
  • Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure system governance, proper documentation, and adherence to change management processes.
  • Maintain compliance with GDPR, data privacy regulations, and internal audit/security requirements.
  • Oversee role-based security, ensuring appropriate access and segregation of duties.
  • Continuous Improvement & Transformation
  • Champion process simplification, automation, and digital HR transformation using EC capabilities.
  • Keep the organization informed of SuccessFactors innovations, best practices, and roadmap opportunities.
  • Propose and implement enhancements to optimize employee experience and HR efficiency.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Eight or more  years of HR Technology experience, with 5+ years hands-on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central expertise
  • Proven experience in global EC implementations, country-specific configuration, and large-scale support models.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification  
  • Strong expertise in EC functionalities: foundation objects, position management, workflows, business rules, time off, benefits, and global assignments.
  • Experience integrating EC with other modules (Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, Compensation, Learning) and external systems (Payroll, Benefits, Finance).
  • Familiarity with middleware/integration tools (SAP CPI, Dell Boomi, APIs).
  • Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and system troubleshooting.
  • Strong people leadership and coaching abilities.

 

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

  • Master’s degree
  • .People management role leading HRIS/EC teams is an advantage.

 

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. The expected salary range for this position is $102,800 - $133,600. 

The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including, medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
