POSITION SUMMARY

 

 We are seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to join our team at our Rush Downtown location. This role is vital to creating a positive first impression and ensuring a seamless patient experience. The PSR is responsible for greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, assisting with the check-out process, and supporting day-to-day front office operations. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Check in patients and address any individual needs or concerns
  • Verify and collect insurance information, co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
  • Support administrative tasks and maintain accurate patient records
  • Cross-trained to assist with medical assistant duties as needed
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned


Requirements

 QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ CRITICAL SKILLS


  • 1-2 years of experience working in a professional medical office environment responsible for the front desk, or similar role
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment
  • Patient-focused with the ability to work independently
  • Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment


SCHEDULING: Must have flexibility: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
