Full-Time Receptionist / Client Services – Administration Role
North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre – Artarmon, Sydney
North Shore Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre is a leading referral hospital located in Artarmon, just a short walk from St Leonards and Artarmon Stations. We provide gold-standard care through our Specialist, Emergency, and General Practice services, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Due to staff movement, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Receptionist / Client Services professional to join our friendly front-of-house team on a Permanent Full-Time basis.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment, enjoys variety, and understands the vital role that a cohesive reception team plays in delivering an exceptional client experience.

Proven experience in a strong customer service or administrative role.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent written and spoken English.
The ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask effectively.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Word, Excel).
A collaborative approach and willingness to take direction.
Experience within a veterinary or medical reception environment is highly regarded, but candidates with extensive customer service experience from other industries are also encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of RxWorks or ezyVet would be an advantage, though training will be provided for the right person.
Your Key Responsibilities
Welcoming and assisting clients and their pets.
Managing a high volume of phone and email enquiries.
Scheduling appointments for multiple veterinarians.
Maintaining accurate client and patient records.
Processing insurance claims and pathology results.
Handling bank reconciliations and general administrative duties.
Providing support to veterinarians and management.
Assisting with reception presentation, stock deliveries, and OTC sales.
