The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to lead front-end development and complex rezoning initiatives across a major strategic industrial landholding. This role requires strong expertise in navigating planning frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and zoning transitions to unlock future development opportunities.
You will play a critical role in shaping long-term outcomes by driving rezoning strategies, managing relationships with government and planning authorities, and ensuring timely approvals that align with broader business objectives.
Your tasks will include:
- Leading rezoning strategy and execution, working closely with internal teams.
- Navigating planning approvals and environmental overlays to unlock developable land.
- Building and managing relationships with government stakeholders, councils, and JV partners.
- Driving front-end development outcomes across multiple strategic projects.
- Providing strategic insight into planning pathways, approvals, and stakeholder engagement.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bring deep expertise in land zoning, planning approvals, and front-end development.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, particularly with government and planning authorities.
- Have experience leading rezoning projects with environmental and heritage complexities.
- Be commercially astute, with a track record of delivering outcomes in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a clear focus on long-term strategic outcomes.
