We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Process Engineer with strong Business Readiness capabilities to lead the design, optimisation, and implementation of end-to-end business processes across strategic transformation initiatives. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that business units are operationally ready for change, with a focus on process excellence, stakeholder alignment, and seamless transition to new ways of working.
Please note this role operates in a hybrid model with candidates expected to be able and willing to work from our customer's Dublin office at least once per week.
Required experience & qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Business Process Engineering, ideally within large-scale transformation programs
- Proven experience in Business Readiness, Change Management or Operational Readiness roles
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of process modelling tools
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations or related field
Key responsibilities & duties include:
Process Engineering & Optimisation
- Lead the analysis, design and re-engineering of complex business processes across multiple functions
- Facilitate workshops to map current and future state processes using BPMN or similar methodologies
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements aligned with strategic goals
- Collaborate with Product, Technology and Operations teams to ensure process designs are scalable and sustainable
- Use data and metrics to evaluate process performance and drive continuous improvement
Business Readiness & Change Enablement
- Develop and execute business readiness plans to support successful adoption of new systems, processes and capabilities
- Conduct impact assessments and readiness assessments across business units
- Define and track readiness KPIs and success criteria
- Partner with Change Management, Training and Communications teams to ensure smooth transitions
Policy alignment & Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policy alignment and process integration
- Develop documentation, workflows and training materials to support policy and process adoption
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations, escalating risks as needed
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable process and readiness plans
- Support governance forums with clear reporting on readiness status, risks and mitigation plans
- Ensure alignment between business readiness activities and program delivery milestones
Desirable experience:
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry
- Contact Centre experience
- Experience in airline, travel tech or complex B2B environments
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- PROSCI or equivalent Change Management certification
