Porter Culinary at Maryland Masonic Homes

Maryland Masonic Homes a Retirement Community in Cockeysville, Maryland has an immediate opportunity for a Part-time (approximately 16 hours per week) Culinary Porter. Hours for this position will be every other Monday & Friday and every other week-end. This position reports the the Director of Culinary, will work in a team environment.

The ideal candidate must have 1-3 years experience working in a commercial kitchen, nursing home experience is a plus -- willing to train.

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to:)

1. responsible for care and cleaning of Culinary Department, including kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, dining rooms and storerooms. Operates dishwashing machine
2. Keeps all food service areas in a sanitary condition
3. Cleans all tables, work surfaces, walls, windows, floors and storage units
4. Cleans all food service equipment and refrigeration units
5. Washes, air dries and stores all kitchenware and utensils
6. washes and sanitizes all trash cans including dining room trash cans
7. Sets up trays and tables as well as serves trays
8. Serves in the dining rooks when needed
9. Buses table in the dining rooms when necessary
10. Observes infection control procedures related to the Culinary Department
11. Follows facility safety program
