Position Summary
The Folder/Gluer 2nd Helper assists in the operation of a machine that folds and glues corrugated sheets that have been previously scored, slotted, and/or printed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in setting up the machine in accordance with the specifications on the Factory Job Ticket. This includes setting the load former, assisting with bundler set up, assisting with Clearvision, and any other tasks the Operator or Supervisors need
- Prepares bottom sheets, tie sheets, and load tags for the order
- Stacks bundles in specified patterns and in specified layers for unitizing
- Monitors for quality as the last line of defense before orders are stacked
- Removes scrap from the machine area and performs housekeeping duties as necessary between orders and at end of shift
- Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

- Ability to frequently stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- 18 years of age or older
- GED or high school diploma, 1-3 months experience or combination of education and experience
