Bar Supervisors are responsible for assisting with bar operations, ensuring that customers receive the best service possible, upholding a constant level of staff productivity, ensuring that the bar’s budget is not exceeded, and maintaining health and safety standards within the bar.
Responsibilities:
Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Assist with the development and managing of the beverage department budget.
 - Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries
 - Schedules staffing levels to maintain consistent levels of employment to ensure a positive guest experience.
 - Development of staff, to include training, interviewing for new hires, performance management, include disciplinary counseling, and conducting performance evaluations.
 - Assist with coordination and supervision of department financial data.
 - Reviews beverage activities and promotions with Beverage Manager.
 - Monitor and adjust performance to local competition.
 - Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
 - Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws.
 - Knowledge of Health Department, applicable OSHA Regulations, and Gaming Regulations.

Must-Haves:
- Education: A two (2)-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
 - Experience: Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience with bar operations, supervising, and processes.
 - Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
 
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and ability to sit for long periods of time.
 - Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel; use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
 - Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
 - Ability to regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens and organize documents and materials.
