Overview:Eagleview, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring an Aviation Maintenance Technician Senior Team Lead (AMTSTL) for our team. The AMTSTL will support large-scale aerial survey operations. Primary responsibilities will include interfacing with other AMTs, establishing best practices for aircraft and camera system maintenance, and performing signoffs for camera maintenance and installations in accordance with FAA regulations. The candidate will also be responsible for inspections, repairs, modifications, periodic maintenance, and service of aircraft within the limits of the employee’s Federal Aviation Association (FAA) Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) certificate with respect to Part 91 operations.
Responsibilities:• Is the site point of contact for all matters concerning site operations and scheduling.
• Is the site point of contact to ensure compliance of all FAA, Occupational Safety and Environmental Health (OSHA/EPA) regulations and requirements are adhered to.
• Supervise and or lead site personnel to perform tasks to maintain hangar and facilities to 6 S standards.
• Supervise other junior AMT Team Leads assigned to the facility.
• Supervise and lead a team of AMTs or individually work, when necessary, to maintain a fleet of piston engine aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR Part 91 operations.
• Supervise and lead a team of AMTs, or individually, when necessary, to repair aircraft accessory parts.
• Supervise, lead or perform tasks associated with Annual inspections, routine periodic inspections and maintenance, and non-routine inspections and maintenance of PFA aircraft.
• Troubleshoot and assess cause and effect of discrepancies, abnormalities, or safety concerns and report findings to their manager. Complete appropriate reports and documentation as required.
• Supervise, lead or perform removing and installing camera equipment per Eagleview (EV) PFA, and FAA guidelines and requirements for PFA and EV supplier aircraft.
• Complete all documentation of aircraft work in accordance with PFA, EV, and FAA Policies and Standards.
• Travel to off-site facilities when necessary to perform maintenance on aircraft.
• Assist with inventory and shipping as necessary.
• Successfully complete all required compliance training.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
• Valid FAA IA certificate.
• More than 5 years’ experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience leading teams.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• High school diploma.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Experience leading teams working on fixed-wing single and multi-engine piston aircraft.
• Experienced with 14 CFR Part 91, Part 43, and Part 65, subpart D regulations.
• Experienced with reading and understanding maintenance manuals, Illustrated Parts catalogs (IPCs), service instructions, service bulletins, and Airworthiness directives (ADs) in both paper print and electronic format.
• Proficient written and verbal communications skills.
• Proficient technical and analytical troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt quickly.
• Well-organized, dependable, and self-sufficient.
• Proficient with sheet metal fabrication and repair.
• FAA Private Pilot certificate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend, and reach.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Able to occasionally lift or move 50 lbs.
• Able to comfortably travel long and short distances.
