Senior Oracle EBS at Centex Technologies

Description

Centex Technologies is seeking a Senior Oracle EBS AppsDBA with substantial experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to support mission-critical systems for the U.S. Air Force. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing Oracle EBS Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MROi) systems across on-prem and cloud environments.

This position requires,

1. U.S. Citizenship
2. Active Secret clearance (Top Secret eligibility required)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, clone, and integrate Oracle EBS 12.2 with Oracle RDBMS 12c/19c.
• Support MROi solution integration with OCI, DISA, and ERP Common Services.
• Build, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle EBS and database environments.
• Collaborate with PMO architects and developers to manage multiple EBS instances across DISA environments.
• Provide architectural guidance to enhance performance and scalability.
• Monitor systems, tune performance, and manage capacity planning.
• Define operational procedures and create system documentation (CDRLs, SOPs).
• Ensure application and database security; interface with Oracle Support.
• Conduct performance engineering reviews and execute benchmarks.
• Lead performance diagnostics and change management processes.

Requirements

Required Qualifications 

• U.S. Citizenship with active Secret clearance (Top Secret eligibility required).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related technical field.
• AT Level II Certification or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISSP).
• 5–7 years of experience with Oracle EBS R12.2 (technical and system admin roles).
• Hands-on experience with: 
  • Oracle ERP Application 12c (installation, cloning, configuration, upgrade, patching)
  • ADOP patching cycles, provisioning, and debugging
  • Linux and/or Solaris environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S. Air Force systems.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Associate/Advanced certification.
• Oracle EBS Certification.
• Knowledge of Oracle RAC, RMAN, Fusion Middleware, IAM, SOA, APEX.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, BitBucket, Ansible).
• Experience with virtual and subcontractor teams.
• Understanding of public/private cloud technologies.
