Senior Solutions Architect

Job Purpose:

The Docgen apis generate application declaration documents for new policy holders and renewals.

Essential Functions: 

Successful applicant will be expected to

Participate in Agile ceremonies.

Collaborate with consuming teams and infrastructure teams.

Adhere to XP principles and practices.

Support and troubleshoot issues with the apis in non-prod and prod.

Implement, test, and deploy enhancements through non-prod and production.

Education 

Four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 

Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses

Experience 

8+ years of related experience

Special Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Spring Framework and Spring Boot:

Expertise in the Spring ecosystem is essential, particularly Spring Boot for simplified application setup and configuration.

Testing:

Proficiency in unit testing with frameworks like JUnit and knowledge of mocking is important for ensuring API quality.

Familiarity with tools like Postman (or similar) for manually testing API endpoints.

Data structures

Good Knowledge of JSON required.   Experience of manipulating JSON for Extract Transform Load (ETL) using java frameworks like Jackson (or similar)

RESTful API Principles & Design     

Knowledge of REST concepts, HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), and status codes for designing and understanding APIs.
