The role:

MULTIPLE CASUAL SEASONAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE

As a Seasonal Processing Worker, you will be a vital part of our harvest season operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to extend your seasonal work across two fantastic locations.

The season begins at our Mission Beach facility (a convenient 30-minute drive from Tully and 40 minutes from Innisfail), where you will work until Christmas.

For those looking to continue, we offer the ability to transfer to our Proserpine facility in February, with work available until mid-May.

You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure our high-quality prawns are processed, packaged, and prepared for distribution. We are looking for self-motivated team players who are ready to learn and contribute across multiple areas of our processing factory.

Intake: Early November 2025

Although previous experience working in a processing environment is preferred, we provide on-the-job training. We would love to hear from you if you are reliable, have a great attitude, and ready to embark on a new role with the largest producer of prawns in Australia!

Responsibilities:

• Processing: Assisting with the efficient processing, grading, and packaging of our premium Australian black tiger prawns.
• Despatch/Warehousing: Supporting our logistics team with day-to-day warehouse activities, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
  • Note: A Forklift Ticket is required for warehouse-specific duties.

Role requirements:

• Full availability for the seasonal period, with a commitment to the Mission Beach role until Christmas.
• Interest and availability to transfer to Proserpine from February to mid-May is highly regarded.
• The ability to speak and understand English to a good standard is essential for clear communication with team leaders and colleagues regarding safety procedures, task instructions, and general teamwork.
• The ability to work Monday to Friday, with potential for Saturday work.
• Ability to work in a cold food-processing environment.
• Full working rights in Australia and a reliable way of getting to and from work.
• A proactive, team-player attitude and a strong work ethic.
• The physical capability to meet the demands of a cold food-processing environment and warehousing environment.
• A willingness to undergo a pre-employment physical functional assessment and alcohol and drug test.
• A Forklift Ticket with practical experience is highly regarded.
