The West Vancouver Community Services Department has immediate openings for casual Tai Chi Instructors. The District of West Vancouver offers a wide range of health & fitness activities including a dynamic and diverse Group Fitness Schedule at our West Vancouver sites.

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Tai Chi Instructors. The Tai Chi instructor plans, modifies, and instructs safe and effective Tai Chi classes to meet the needs of our community. They ensure participants follow proper technique and feel comfortable with the Tai Chi routine while delivering excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will possess current instructor certification in Tai Chi, current First Aid and CPR and experience teaching seniors. Experience teaching in various styles of Tai Chi would be considered an asset. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to demonstrate their teaching skills.

The successful candidate will be required to supply a police information check with vulnerable sector and a copy of their credentials.
