A FinOps ServiceNow Integration Architect designs and implements solutions to manage cloud costs by integrating FinOps principles with the ServiceNow platform, leveraging IT Asset Management, IT Business Management (ITBM), and other modules for cost visibility, optimisation and automation. Key responsibilities include architecting integrations with cloud billing APIs and enterprise financial systems, establishing data models for cost attribution, developing automated cost optimisation workflows and providing strategic architectural guidance to stakeholders to drive financial accountability and efficiency in cloud operations.
Please note that this is a hybrid position and you are expected to work from the London office once per week.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience in ServiceNow solution architecture and implementation
- Deep comprehension of FinOps principles and frameworks
- Proven ability to design integrations between ServiceNow and cloud platforms/billing systems
- Solid experience with enterprise architectural patterns, data modelling and governance
- Experience in building and optimising data pipelines, analytics, and cost attribution systems
- Top-notch communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills to act as a trusted advisor
- Awareness with AIOps concepts and implementation within ServiceNow, particularly for cost optimisation
Key responsibilities & duties include:
- Design and implement ServiceNow-based solutions for cloud cost management, including cost visibility, forecasting, and resource optimisation
- Develop and architect integrations with various cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their billing APIs, as well as internal enterprise financial systems, to gather cost data
- Create comprehensive data models for cost attribution and establish data governance frameworks for FinOps data within ServiceNow
- Design and build automated workflows for cost anomaly detection, resource rightsizing recommendations, and proactive cloud cost management
- Implement enterprise-grade showback and chargeback systems within ServiceNow to provide detailed cost attribution to business units, projects and services
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand cloud cost challenges, define requirements, and propose strategic solutions with clear value propositions
- Provide architectural leadership and subject matter expertise on FinOps initiatives within the ServiceNow ecosystem
- Utilise ServiceNow capabilities, including Integration Hub, IT Asset Management, and other relevant modules, to build scalable and secure FinOps solutions
- Define and enforce architectural best practices, standards, and governance frameworks for FinOps solutions on the ServiceNow platform
