ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Head of Transformation is responsible for driving strategic change initiatives that enable Boku’s operational scalability, efficiency, and long-term growth in alignment with the 'Road to 500' strategy. This role will focus on transforming business operations, challenging existing structures, and embedding best practices that foster innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
The role holder will work closely with the COO and other senior leaders to ensure that transformation efforts align with corporate objectives, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and enable seamless execution of change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Transformation
- Lead transformational change to support operational business strategy and drive growth.
- Establish a function and cross functional teams dedicated to ‘changing the business’ as opposed to ‘running the business’
- Identify weaknesses in operational structure and efficiency, propose solutions, and implement effective improvements.
- Drive continuous operational optimisation, ensuring readiness to support evolving business needs.
- Scalability and Operational Efficiency
- Deliver scalable business solutions that enhance efficiency and optimise cost structures.
- Leverage technology as an enabler to drive automation, process efficiencies, and increased productivity.
- Utilise data analytics to track operational effectiveness, drive business decisions, and proactively identify risks.
- Programme and Change Management
- Define, structure, and oversee the delivery of the 'Road to 500' transformation programme.
- Establish governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to transformation controls and policies.
- Develop detailed implementation plans, tracking interdependencies and ensuring timely execution of key milestones.
- Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Alignment
- Act as a central point of communication for all transformation initiatives, ensuring clarity and transparency.
- Work closely with the COO and GMC to provide regular updates on transformation progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Foster collaboration between functions, ensuring alignment on transformation priorities.
- Lead and coordinate key transformation-related meetings including:
- Weekly Transformation Update (Report): Issued to GLT with updates on completed/planned activity, risks, issues, and RAG status.
- Bi-Weekly GLT Meeting: Transformation-led updates and decision- making forum.
- Bi-Weekly Transformation Lead Forum: Reviews activity across all workstreams and functions.
- Monthly Transformation Update to Board: High-level progress updates and escalations.
- Governance and Performance Measurement
- Establish clear KPIs to measure transformation success and ensure accountability at all levels.
- Implement structured reporting mechanisms to track progress and inform leadership decision-making.
- Support the five-year plan and strategy refresh process, ensuring transformation efforts remain aligned with business objectives.
Measures of Success:
- Successful execution of transformational initiatives supporting scalability and operational efficiency.
- Delivery of key milestones within the 'Road to 500' transformation programme.
- Increased automation and adoption of technology-driven process improvements.
- Improved alignment between transformation efforts and business strategy.

- Excellent data-driven decision-making skills, leveraging analytics to drive outcomes.
- Experience in leveraging technology to optimise business operations.
Qualifications (if required):
- Degree in Business, Operations, or related field (desirable).
- Certifications in Change Management, Programme Management, or Lean Six Sigma (desirable).
- Significant experience in a senior transformation leadership role within a global organisation.
